#DIY #DVDS

I have to admit that summer does get boring...but I do not believe in wasting my days. If I'm not working or hanging out with my boyfriend, I am making things. Whoa do I sound like a loser or what. Anyways I was scrolling through pinterest and saw this cute diy project. All you had to do is use old Dvds or CDs and put them on collars of any shirt. Here are the steps.

You'll need :

  • Some old Dvds or CDs
  • Scissors
  • super glue or fabric glue
  • A shirt
  1. Bring water to a boil and put the cds/ dvds in there, let boil for five minutes.
2.Remove the Dvd/CDs and let them dry

3.Cut the Dvd in half and carefully split it open ( it should break in two parts)

4.Cut the Dvds/CDs into triangle shapes or squares

5.Grab your glue and place them on your shirt !

Notes:
  • When placing the pieces on your shirt be careful of your finger prints ! Since the Dvds were boiled it makes the shiny surface very sensitive. The fingerprints won't come off and if you try to wipe it off, it will scratch away the shiny surface.
  • Be careful with the glue because if it touches the shiny surface it will wash off.
  • Also make sure the glue does not get on the shirt in spots it doesn't need to be.
  • Take your time ! It took me three hours, but that was because of trial and error. *pulls hair*
There are many ways to wear this shirt ! I played with different outfits ! Hashtag stop abusing the skater skirt, wear that s*** right. Happy blogging .

Nude Gone Wrong

Thanks again Rihanna for setting the bar once again *sarcastic voice*

I was scrolling down my twitter feed the other day and saw something I didn't need to see ( but that's everyday on twitter). But this was different, this girl on twitter was bragging that she made a dress for her aunt. It was shocking.. of course I quickly screenshotted it .. and looked at it for the longest time, trying to understand her thought process behind the dress. To call it a 'dress' was a understatement because the whole thing was made of  nude sheer tool.. and then some flowers were sloppily stitched on to barely cover the woman's boobs.. and then some to barely cover her other half *gag* . The girl was completely naked !! And as everyone referred to it as the " thot dress" she referred to it as the Rihanna dress. Damn. It. Rihanna.

I want to post a picture of it.. but I don't want to start any fights.

I think when a lady gets dressed she is suppose to be mysterious and leave things to the imagination. But if you just go out wearing a see through outfit, where's the mystery , the imagination , or even the sexiness ? As a classy lady you just never let all your business hangout, that is not what fashion is. Even when huge fashion icons put it ALL on the table, does not mean that they are doing it for the fashion, but rather for the attention and fame. Yes halle berry has been all nude, Iggy Azalea , and Rihanna.

Here below is the girl's defense for the dress she made. I know Rihanna's look is to be risky and skanky, but it just would of been so much better if her boobs were not showing. Hate hate hate.

But never fear there is a tasteful way to show off your body in a sheer nude or fishnet outfit.

The first tasteful dress that came to mind was Beyonce at the Grammy's this year. It makes me wonder what Bey's butt looks like ( I mean who doesn't ), but it's so tastefully done. Bey always slays.

Another dress I came across was Kim Kardashian at the Vienna Ball. Thank you Kanye is all I have to say, Kim Kardashian has really started to dress like a classy woman. I love how the top is cut and how it fits her chest, it is definitely a classy and sexy dress !

Just basically keep your lady parts covered, but you can still wear a sexy dress and remain classy. We 'normal' people always look to stars for fashion inspiration, but don't copy reckless ones like Rihanna. If you love Rihanna's style then good for you ! Here's a picture below just for you guys.

Here's some everyday sheer and fishnet clothes that are my favorite.
